What is PMWYBA?
Pocono Mountain West Youth Basketball Association, formally known as Pocono Youth Basketball Association has been around for 30 years. Our program caters to the students in the West part of the Pocono Mountain School District.
The mission of the Pocono Mountain West Youth Basketball Association is to teach our youth the basic fundamental skills of basketball, as well as to develop the overall understanding of basketball concepts and gain experiences through coaching, practice, and game play.
Furthermore, PMWYBA is the official feeder program to the Pocono Mountain West Basketball Program, and in being so, PMWYBA prides itself in preparing our players for their transition from youth basketball to middle school, highschool, and varsity basketball.
Get Involved!
We are always looking for volunteers to help us make our vision a reality. Our program runs solely because of the volunteers we have. Everyone from the book and clock keepers, Coaches, some referees, and those that work the concession stand are committed to giving back to their community.
If you would like to volunteer please reach out to us. We do require a background check.
